George ENESCU String octet

The thought of the amazing string octet by Enescu sounding live, kept me going during the long periode of preparations for the 5th Festival Turina. It is now on video, recorded live at the concert I named "The essence". The piece itself, and the musicians, demonstrate pure musicmaking captured in the many colours, sounds, looks, emotions... the essence of chambermusic as its very best. What a gift for all of us to enjoy!
