VIOLINIST PHILIPPE GRAFFIN is from France, and perhaps one of the most renowned violinists in the world. Philippe has visited Festival Turina in Seville, but I met him as early as 2000, when we were both invited to Truls Mørk's festival in Stavanger.
Philippe is on every stage of the world, but just as happy teaching the classroom. He has started, and is leading several chamber music festivals and shares my philosophy of reaching out to a wide audience and honestly sharing knowledge with young musicians. Philippe also has a special devotion towrads unknown works and is especially dedicated to the composer Ysaÿe.
